User Agreement
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Acceptance
This User Agreement governs your use of Snippr, a macOS text expansion app. By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using Snippr, you agree to this agreement and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Snippr.
License
Snippr is licensed, not sold. Subject to this agreement and Apple's App Store terms where applicable, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Snippr on Macs associated with your Apple ID or purchase channel.
You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or use Snippr to build a competing product except where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
Purchases, Pricing, and Refunds
Snippr is intended to be a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The launch price may differ from the standard lifetime price.
Mac App Store purchases, refunds, taxes, receipts, family sharing eligibility, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under Apple's App Store terms and policies. Snippr does not process your payment card directly.
A lifetime license means continued access to the version and included features sold under that license. It does not guarantee every possible future paid major upgrade, separate product, platform, service, or third-party cost.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the snippets you create, import, store, and expand with Snippr. Do not use Snippr to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, impersonate others, distribute harmful content, or bypass security controls.
You are responsible for reviewing snippets before using them in sensitive contexts. Text expansion can insert content quickly, so confirm that a snippet is appropriate before using it in legal, medical, financial, employment, or other high-impact situations.
Availability and Compatibility
Snippr requires macOS and Accessibility permission. Some apps, secure input fields, password fields, remote desktops, virtual machines, browser security boundaries, or system restrictions may prevent text expansion from working consistently.
Features may vary by macOS version, hardware, App Store rules, and Apple framework availability.
Updates
Snippr may provide bug fixes, compatibility updates, and feature updates. Updates may change, add, or remove functionality when needed for reliability, platform compatibility, security, App Store compliance, or product direction.
No Warranty
Snippr is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snippr disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free behavior.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snippr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or errors caused by inserted snippet content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Snippr's total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Snippr at any time. Snippr may terminate or restrict your license if you materially violate this agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the app.
Changes to This Agreement
Snippr may update this agreement from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new last updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised agreement.
